7/22/2014 - Jewelry Theft

ON MAY 16, OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE CIVIC CENTER SHOPS IN DOWNTOWN LEXINGTON IN REFERENCE TO THE THEFT OF JEWELRY VALUED OVER $25,000. THE VICTIM DROPPED THE BAG CONTAINING THE JEWELRY ON THE WAY OUT THE DOOR WHEN TWO UNKNOWN SUSPECTS WHO WERE FOLLOWING SHORTLY BEHIND LOCATED THE BAG ON THE GROUND AND WALKED AWAY WITH THE JEWELRY.

7/15/2014 - Krispy Kreme Robbery
ON JULY 6, OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE KRISPY KREME ON RICHMOND ROAD IN REFERENCE TO AN ARMED ROBBERY. AN UNKNOWN SUSPECT ARMED WITH A RIFLE CONFRONTED EMPLOYEES OUTSIDE, ORDERED THEM INSIDE, AND STOLE THEIR WALLETS.

7/8/2014 - Theft of Credit Card

ON JUNE 21, THE VICTIM REPORTED HAVING CREDIT CARDS AND CASH STOLEN FROM HIS LOCKER AT THE BEAUMONT CENTRE YMCA. SHORTLY AFTER THE THEFT, THE VICTIM REPORTED THAT OVER $7,500 WORTH OF FRAUDULENT CHARGES WERE PLACED ON HIS STOLEN CARDS.

ON JUNE 19, 2014 OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A BURGLARY OF THE SPEEDWAY AT 2819 TATES CREEK ROAD. THE SURVEILLANCE VIDEO SHOWS TWO MALE WHITE SUSPECTS THROWING A LARGE ROCK THROUGH THE FRONT GLASS. THE SUSPECTS ARE THEN SEEN ENTERING THE STORE AND FLEEING THE STORE WITH VARIOUS ITEMS FROM BEHIND THE COUNTER.

ON MAY 7, 2014 AN UNKNOWN FEMALE SUSPECT WITHDREW 7,400 DOLLARS FROM THE VICTIM’S ACCOUNT AT THE PNC BANK ON WAR ADMIRAL WAY. THE SUBJECT PROVIDED AN ID AND A CREDIT CARD WITH THE VICTIM’S NAME ON THEM TO BANK PERSONEL TO COMPLETE THE FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION. THE ID AND THE CREDIT CARD HAVE BEEN FOUND BY INVESTIGATORS TO BE FRAUDULENT.

6/17/2014 - Cold Case Hit and Run Fatality
ON NOVEMBER 11, 2011 POLICE RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF WINBURN DRIVE NEAR FELTNER COURT IN REFERENCE TO A PEDESTRIAN THAT HAD BEEN STRUCK BY A HIT AND RUN VEHICLE. THE PEDESTRIAN DIED AS A RESULT OF THE CRASH. WITNESSES ADVISED THEY SAW A DARK COLORED SUV FLEE THE SCENE AFTER STRIKING THE VICTIM

ON MAY 19, 2014 POLICE RESPONDED TO A REPORT OF VEHICLE THAT HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO AT 4057 MOONCOIN WAY.  THE VICTIM REPORTED HAVING A LOADED HANDGUN AND HER DEBIT CARD STOLEN. INVESTIGATORS WHERE ABLE TO OBTAIN VIDEO FOOTAGE OF A SUSPECT USING THE VICTIM’S CREDIT CARD. PLEASE HELP IDENTIFY THIS SUSPECT.

ON APRIL 11, 2014 POLICE RESPONDED TO A RESIDENTIAL BURLGARY ON LAKEWOOD DRIVE. THE SUSPECTS WERE ABLE TO GAIN ENTRY AFTER LOCATING A HIDDEN KEY, THEN STOLE ITEMS FROM THE HOME VALUED AT APPROXIMATELY $3,200 DOLLARS.

ON MARCH 31, 2014 AFTER MULTIPLE VEHICLES WERE BROKEN INTO IN THE AREA OF 3051 LEESTOWN ROAD, THE SUSPECT FORGED AND CASHED PERSONAL CHECKS BELONGING TO ONE OF THE VICTIM’S WHICH TOTALLED OVER $2,900 DOLLARS. INVESTIGATORS WHERE ABLE TO OBTAIN STILL PHOTOS FROM A BANK DRIVE THROUGH THAT SHOW THE SUSPECT AND SUSPECT VEHICLE ATTEMPTING TO CASH THE FORGED CHECKS.
