6/23/2015 - Theft and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Suspect

ON JANUARY 5, A VICTIM’S WALLET WAS STOLEN.  IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER, A SUSPECT IS OBSERVED USING THE VICTIM’S STOLEN CREDIT CARDS AT 6 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT LEXINGTON.  THIS SUSPECT IS WANTED FOR QUESTIONING IN RELATED CASES.

ON FRIDAY MAY 22 AT 11PM, TWO MALE BLACK SUBJECTS ENTERED THE SIR PIZZA AT 2604 RICHMOND ROAD AND ATTEMPTED TO ROB THE STORE.  ONE SUBJECT IMPLIED HE HAD A WEAPON BY PLACING HIS HAND IN HIS POCKET WHILE THE OTHER ASSAULTED A FEMALE CUSTOMER AND ATTEMPTED TO STEAL HER WALLET.  THE VICTIM SCREAMED SUBSEQUENTLY SCARING THE SUSPECTS AWAY.

6/9/2015 - Chase Bank Robbery

ON FRIDAY 05/29/2015 AT 9:30AM, A SUBJECT DESCRIBED AS MALE BLACK, LATE 30S 6’1” 180LBS WITH SHOULDER LENGTH DREADLOCKS ENTERED THE CHASE BANK AT 2590 RICHMOND RD.  HE JUMPED THE TELLER DOOR AND IMMEDIATELY DEMANDED CASH FROM ONE OF THE TELLERS.  WHEN SHE HESITATED OPENING THE DRAWER, HE SHOCKED HER IN THE BACK MULTIPLE TIMES WITH A STUN GUN.  THE SUSPECT THEN HELPED HIMSELF TO TWO OF THE TELLER DRAWERS AND STUFFED THE MONEY INTO A BLACK BACKPACK BEFORE FLEEING THE BANK.  HE WAS DESCRIBED AS WEARING A GRAY HAT, GRAY BANDANA, GRAY ZIPPER JACKET, GRAY SWEATPANTS, BLACK SHOES, AND LARGE DARK SUNGLASSES.  THE SUSPECT WAS LAST SEEN JUMPING A RETAINING WALL BEHIND THE CHOPHOUSE ON RICHMOND RD DURING HIS ESCAPE.

5/27/2015 - Public Library Sex Offender

ON MARCH 10 AND MAY 2, 2015 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:00PM THE DOWNTOWN LEXINGTON PUBLIC LIBRARY HAS BEEN THE LOCATION OF A SUBJECT CAUGHT MASTURBATING WHILE STARING AT CHILDREN.  THE SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED MOVING THROUGH ROWS ON THE 2ND FLOOR LOOKING AT PATRONS AND CHILDREN FROM BETWEEN BOOKS AND PLEASURING HIMSELF.  BY THE TIME SECURITY WAS NOTIFIED AND RESPONDED, THE SUSPECT HAD FLED.  HE WAS CAPTURED ON VIDEO SURVEILLANCE.

5/26/2015 - Victorias Secret Thefts

FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS, A RING OF THIEVES HAVE BEEN TARGETING VICTORIAS SECRET STORES IN LEXINGTON, LOUSIVILLE, AND SOUTHERN INDIANA.  DURING EACH THEFT, BETWEEN 2 AND 4 FEMALE BLACK SUBJECTS ENTER THE STORE CARRYING LARGE BAGS.  THEY LOAD UP THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN MERCHANDISE IN UNDER A MINUTE AND FLEE THE STORE.

LENS CRAFTERS OF LEXINGTON GREEN HAD SEVERAL PAIRS OF DESIGNER GLASSES STOLEN BY AN EXPERIENCED THIEF.  THE SUSPECT WAS WEARING A WIG, OBTAINED THE SHOWROOM CASE KEY, REMOVED SELECT ITEMS, AND DEFEATED THE SECURITY MECHANISMS DESIGNED TO ALERT STORE EMPLOYEES OF A THEFT IN PROGRESS.

5/12/2015 - Space Center Storage Burglaries

Lexington Police are coordinating with outside agencies to identify the person pictured.  This suspect has broken into Space Center Storage facilities in Shelbyville and Lexington.  He has damaged over 100 individual units and stolen tools and collectibles from 20 victims valued at $25,000.  If you know this suspect, please contact Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020 for a $1000 cash reward.

4/28/2015 - Cell Phone Store Burglaries

OVER THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS,  LEXINGTON CELL PHONE STORES HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY BURGLARIZED BY THE SAME THREE SUSPECTS.  THERE HAVE BEEN SEVEN SEPARATE INCIDENTS AT T-MOBILE, SPRINT, AND AT&T STORES.  THE SUSPECTS HAVE STOLEN HUNDREDS OF DEVICES INCLUDING IPHONES, IPADS, AND OTHER VARIOUS PHONE MODELS TOTALING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN INVENTORY.  POLICE ARE SEEKING ANY AND ALL INFORMATION CONNECTED TO THE CASES.

4/28/2015 - Circle K Robbery

IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF FEBRUARY 8TH 2015 AROUND 4AM, TWO SUSPECTS ENTERED THE CIRCLE K GAS STATION AT 3470 RICHMOND ROAD.  THE FIRST SUBJECT WAS WEARING A TAN NY YANKEES BALLCAP AND POINTED A SILVER REVOLVER AT THE CLERK AND DEMANDED MONEY.  THE SECOND SUBJECT WAS WEARING A BLUE TOBAGGAN AND ACTED AS A LOOKOUT.  POLICE ARE SEEKING ANY INFORMATION LEADING TO THEIR ARRESTS.

LEXINGTON POLICE WERE CALLED TO CLARKS PUMP N SHOP MARATHON STATION LOCATED AT 1971 N BROADWAY REGARDING AN ARMED ROBBERY.  THE SUSPECT ENTERED THE STORE, POINTED A HANDGUN AT THE CLERK AND DEMANDED SHE OPEN THE CASH REGISTER.  THE SUSPECT REACHED OVER THE COUNTER AND STOLE AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF CASH.
