12/16/2014 - Chase Bank Robbery

ON 10-31-14, LEXINGTON DIVISION OF POLICE RESPONDED TO THE CHASE BANK ON CLAYS MILL ROAD IN REFERENCE TO AN ARMED ROBBERY. WITNESSES ADVISED THAT TWO SUSPECTS ENTERED THE BANK, BOTH WEARING MASKS AND DEMANDING MONEY FROM THE CLERKS. ONE SUSPECT DISPLAYED A HANDGUN DURING THE ROBBERY. THE SUSPECTS FLED THE BANK WITH OVER $2,000 IN CASH.

ON 10-15-14, LEXINGTON POLICE RESPONDED TO THE 5/3 BANK ON VERSAILLES ROAD IN REFERENCE TO AN ARMED ROBBERY. WITNESSES ADVISED THAT TWO SUSPECTS WEARING BANDANNAS ON THEIR FACES ENTERED THE BANK, ONE DISPLAYING A SILVER HANDGUN, AND THE OTHER CARRYING A BAG. ONE SUSPECT ORDERED THE CUSTOMERS ON THE GROUND WHILE THE OTHER JUMPED THE COUNTER AND BEGAN TO EMPTY THE CASH DRAWERS. THE SUSPECTS FLED THE BANK WITH APPROXIMATELY $3,600.

12/2/2014 - Richmond BP Robbery

ON 06-29-14, RICHMOND POLICE RESPONDED TO THE HARDY’S BP ON FOUR MILE ROAD IN REFERENCE TO AN ARMED ROBBERY. THE CLERK ADVISED THAT A MALE BLACK SUSPECT CONFRONTED HIM WHILE HOLDING A FIREARM TO HIS BACK, AND DEMANDED THE CLERK EMPTY THE SAFE AND CASH REGISTER INTO A BAG. AFTER OBTAINING THE MONEY, THE SUSPECT FLED ON FOOT WITH OVER $5,300 DOLLARS.

ON 11-19-14, LEXINGTON POLICE RESPONDED TO THE SPEEDWAY AT 447 E. NEW CIRCLE ROAD IN REFERENCE TO AN ARMED ROBBERY. WITNESSES SAY TWO SUSPECTS WEARING MASKS AND ARMED WITH A HANDGUN ENTERED THE STORE, CONFRONTED THE CLERK, AND DEMANDED MONEY. THE SUSPECTS FLED THE SCENE AND ARE STILL OUTSTANDING.

ON 09-24-14, LEXINGTON POLICE RESPONDED TO THE GAMESTOP ON NEW CIRCLE ROAD IN REFERENCE TO AN ARMED ROBBERY. WITNESSES ADVISED THREE MALE BLACK SUSPECTS ENTERED THE STORE CONCEALING THEIR FACES, ONE ARMED WITH A HANDGUN, AND BEGAN DEMANDING MONEY FROM THE REGISTER.

IN JULY OF 2014, LEXINGTON POLICE BEGAN INVESTIGATING A SERIES OF COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES IN THE VERSAILLES ROAD CORRIDOR. BETWEEN JULY AND AUGUST, THREE DIFFERENT BUSINESSES WERE BROKEN INTO, ALL HAVING THE SAME METHOD OF ENTRY. POLICE ARE LOOKNG FOR INFORMATION LINKING A SUSPECT TO THIS SERIES OF BURGLARIES.

ON MAY 2, LEXINGTON POLICE RESPONDED TO THE FAMILY DOLLAR IN REFERENCE TO A ROBBERY. AT APPROXIMATELY 8 P.M. A MALE WHITE SUSPECT ENTERED THE STORE, IMPLIED HE HAD A FIREARM, AND PASSED THE CLERK A NOTE DEMANDING MONEY. WHEN THE CLERK COULD NOT ACCESS THE MONEY, THE SUSPECT FLED ON FOOT.

ON OCTOBER 13, DETECTIVES WITH THE LEXINGTON DIVISION OF POLICE BEGAN INVESTIGATING A FRAUD CASE IN WHICH THE SUSPECT USED THE VICTIM’S CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO PURCHASE TWO IPHONE 6’S AT THE WALMART IN HAMBURG.  THE CHARGES TOTALED OVER $1,500.

ON APRIL 30, AT APPROXIMATELY 11 AM LEXINGTON POLICE RESPONDED TO THE PEOPLES EXCHANGE BANK ON RICHMOND ROAD IN REFERENCE TO A ROBBERY. WITNESSES ADVISED TWO MALE BLACK SUSPECTS ARMED WITH A HANDGUN ENTERED THE BANK AND DEMANDED MONEY. THE SUSPECTS FLED WITH APPROXIMATELY $6,453 IN CASH.

ON SEPTEMBER 26, LEXINGTON POLICE RESPONDED TO THE FOODLAND MARKET ON EUREKA SPRINGS IN REFERENCE TO A HOLD UP ALARM. WHEN POLICE ARRIVED, THE VICTIM ADVISED THAT THE SUSPECT ENTERED THE STORE, POINTED A GUN AT HIM WHILE DEMANDING MONEY. THE SUSPECT FLED THE SCENE WITH CASH FROM THE REGISTER.
